DIY Candy Bags

I LOVE making these little candy bags. Aren't they so sweet? These can simply be used as favors or as a way to arrange your candy on your buffet table... That way you don't have to worry about jars and scoops... The guests simply grab a little candy filled bag and start eating right out of it at the party.

Here's all you need to make these candy bags:
All you need is colored cardstock, scissors, 3 x 4 inch clear candy bags, stapler, glue, pen, and of course, candy.
And if you have punchers you can always use those too.
Start by cutting a 3 x 4 inch piece of cardstock. I used my paper cutter but you can use scissors and a ruler if you don't have one.
Fold it in half so it's now 2 x 4 inches.
Fill the bag with a little candy.
Place the top of the bag inside the folded paper.
 Staple it shut.
Make sure you staple the paper onto the plastic to keep it shut
Now you can decorate it by adding little shapes and banners.
For a party favor you can simply write the words "thank you".
Cut a rectangle around the words.
To be fancy you can then cut a triangle out of each end.
Glue this on the top. I like to cover the staples.
 Mix different patterns and colors.
Of course you can never go wrong with a monochromatic color scheme.

  1. You are so talented! I want to make some!

Let's just say that I sorta like comments. A lot.
